My heart sunk to the depths when he threw those pictures of him and Tae down the bin and nearly trashed the drawing she worked so hard on making for him but I near damn teared up when he had that strange unexplainable feeling of longing and loss wash over him once he took a good look at it. There's still hope for them two!

So gantz literally just loads his memories from a previous "point" ... But wouldn't it be obvious there would be inconsistencies right away, and if they can regain them then there is no point. I mean the second he looked at the date he should have been like "what the fuck, how did it just time skip 6 months?"
