They narrowly got out of there after Kato had given his final farewell to Kei being leaving her to rest with the lovers for good. Kurono's quickly getting his leg eaten up and all that pain made him wish for death but he should hang in there a bit longer. Kato could probably shoot that wound and tie it up immediately.
