It's true, but you can't blame people for being skeptical.

It's cute of Kato to give one of the weapons a name, especially with one that's as cool as that. That moment when he used the X-Gun on one of the statues and found out that it's alive before getting interrupted by the other one was menacingly awesome.

Well that was obvious ... though too be honest shouldn't these be somewhat easy? I mean they are rather large targets, those guns should be able to kill them somewhat easily ... Though their has always been an uber boss not shown by Gantz, wonder what the Boss for this will be.
