I thought that was an omnious sign too, but that didn't detract the enjoyment of this chapter. I like Cynthia too, so I hope she is able to come back from the West. But...Clare is expendable now? *add negative smily*

I can only guess that the disfigurement on Claymore bodies is a visible piece of the Yoma they took into their bodies. In Clare's case specifically, I'm going to guess she has Teresa's face on her stomach.

so is the two month wait just this time? or is that the new release schedule?

Seriously, why Raphaela had to die? Blah. But I give Riful this - her last panel was too darn evil.

The Rafaela reveal is insane. I was wondering what body was being shown and thought maybe it was Ilena's body but this is quite something.

This manga certainly has been building up many interesting and promising results to the story and characters.  Too bad we have to wait until October though. :(
