Koukou Debut Chapter 52 Discussion

Damnit. I got too caught up with the characters and ended up crying.

This has been one of the best shoujo mangas I've read in a while. Loved the characters.

the ending was so funny! thats what happen to haruna without yoh to guide her... :P

ahhhhgh this didn't feeling like a real ending. kind of wish enren debut wasn't just a one-shot, the mangaka totally could have gotten away with expanding into a sequel for at least a few volumes! it wouldn't even be filler with showing haruna eventually going to school in tokyo, the long-distance aspects beforehand, all the side characters and developing their relationships more.... this manga definitely exceeded my expectations, it wasn't all that extremely unique or anything but i smiled like an idiot the whole way through and it was done super well for a lighter-hearted shoujo. i'm gonna miss it and if i can't find the remaining mystery chapters anywhere (it says 62??? including the one shot i guess) i might buy that 3-in-1 book that has volumes 14 and 15 in it as well

Great series and no ecchi fan-service shit but instead with excellent drama. Lol @ Haruna's hair style though, I wanted to see her hair much longer actually.

that was absolutely perfect!!! now off to read the sequel! :D

although i think Yoh should have save the letter in the end, as well as Asaoka, Mami, Fumi, Assa should have showed together and made a speech on Yoh.



and they should have all cried as the farewell to Yoh, but the kiss in the end made up for it :)



and yeah a year late, Haruna's fashion clothes :D her hair is sooo loooong!!!!

i cried a little when Haruna showed Yoh the Yosegaki with everyone's writing on it.



it's too bad Kawahara Kazune didn't include other speeches from Leona Matsuzaka(rival of Haruna from Baseball days) Minegisihi Eri and Kimura Kyouko(they were part of the cheering squad, Miniegishi is the 3rd year classmate hottie, and Kimura was the quiet one)



probably time constraints as Kazune suggested in her note.



man LOVE this series.



definitely the best shoujo for me(sorry Kimi ni Todoke) along with Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!



this is one of the few manga's i experience multiple emotions, angry, confused, happy, sad, tearful, and hateful(cram school eyes girl :P)



i read this manga 2 years ago, and i suddenly stop around chapter 40's.



don't know why i did that but it's good to reread all of this to refreshen my memory.



it reminded me of my High School days, the long distant relationship definitely hit a nerve on me.



unfortunately things didn't turn out, but im okay with it ^^



im sure she's happy right now with her new Boyfriend.

surprisingly i used Kimi ni Todoke S1 OST to read this, songs like Pure White Story, Meguru Kisetsu, Hokago for the emotional scenes, while Pure Waltz, Go Go no Koshitsu for the everday scenes, Pretty Secret for the revealing truth.



and Sawa and Kaze for the final scenes(1 year later)



all of them surprisingly fit the mood and atmosphere O____O



i wish this had a anime series like Maid-Sama!



they could use the VA from the drama CD(which Kazune surprisingly like the voices)



one of the best series ever!!!!!!!!



i wish more people invest in this series.



definitely checking Enren Debut :)

Decent ending. Could be worse and could be better, but overall the series was a fun ride.

was good manga. didnt disappoint in anyway and was pretty interesting!

Lol at least Asaoka managed to make Fumi cry, while Haruna got Yoh!



The whole button thing ia a nice concept, hehehe not asking for Yoh's for fear of Haruna!! When they called out the names, 'Asaoka Yiu, Koniyama Yoh, Tamura Fumiya' and then her lovely speech! :<



But the best parts were all the little messages for Yoh (lol fang boy bringing back the memory of their kisu!), his letter and of course her speech to him, and it being the basketball game that she first knew :''( Of course the kiss at the airport was even more perfect since their friends saw it!!!!



'Every day will be my debut!' ... quite literally when we her after a year!! Dress was ok, but the hair... well it was perfect to end the manga! ^^

I smiled on the last chapter, it's a good thing



Enjoyed and Furious on some chapter, but that's part of it that makes this manga great



On to Oneshot Enren debut

I enjoyed it overall but there was a lot really pointless chapters also I kinda felt that initial purpose of the series  basically became irrelevant when they got together so early in the series.
