                        Apparently the anime pretty much follows the manga until here, though in the manga Lucy escapes by herself (who was the idiot who gave the guards the keys to her confinement? shouldn't they be locked up just in case someone tries to commit treason?)

Well, crap. I remember that scene in that train but I forgot all about how those two who got torn apart by Nyu's ilk were actually Kouta's dad and little sister. No one can blame him for forgetting now.
