Yawn, everyone knows he's gonna get beaten in the next chapter or the one after that, and then the epilogue and confirmed ships happy end bla bla bla.



When a writer is literally counting down how much is left till the end there is little chance it makes the flow of a story easy to predict.

next chapter is titled "linked hearts" so time for some power of friendship again

did they lured Acno to the port and expect that he wouldn't do anything? :o

obv he's going to destroy everything in his sight, especially the ships

Nothing interesting happened. This episode was some sort of preparation I guess.



The dragon slayers are just trying hard to punch Acknologia, just like Zeref vs Natsu. The older fights seemed much more interesting. Perhaps by now the manga lacks the "cool fights" of shounen, but has too much of "nakama bullshit" of shounen.



I am just here to see the ending and hope there will be something satisfying, but seeing the next chapter's title "linked hearts", it sounds corny, and I think it's going to be another nakama asspull. It just does not seem right that most of the dialogues are about friendship, and protecting, instead of working out some sort of tactic. This mostly apply to the dragon slayers, not Lucy, their dialogues seem to be useful at least.

Of course this would happen. Nakama power grows stronger the deeper despair FT members face so this should happen.
