What saddens me the most is that kids will still read and buy it and other very good mangas still won't get a licence in english or in french. :-(
Well to be fair, you could go out of your way and actually write reviews about those good series so that at least a few more people will appreciate them.
I´ve read my share of "underrated" series and Toriko to name just one, deserves to be where it is right now.
I don't write reviews because the trend for reviews on Mal is "the longer the better" and in my opinion a good review is something that keeps itself short and has to convey your feelings toward a comic or a show efficiently. I don't want to read 50 to 100 lines of words before reading a manga, especially if it's just a repetition of "the art is good" "the story is cool" "the characters are nice". I want to know what is special, something that would make me want to read it. If in 10 to 12 lines you're not able to do that, then there is no point writing anything longer, I won't read it.
And I was not talking about things that are underrated, but things that are difficult to find. For example in France you can't find Gintama in big stores and even in specialized ones, you have to get it on the internet. And Kingdom isn't even licensed and won't be because it's too expensive to buy a licence at this point. But our stores are full of Fairy Tail everywhere
