Oh, you silly FT reader, it's because Hiro wanted to imply that Alvarez actually had a chance to win the war before. Now that Gildarts is back I give 5 chapters for this arc to end.

Meh chapter except for that ending there. Gildarts' return pleases me quite a bit since I want to see how much stronger he's gotten.

3/5 Chapter wasn´t really good.



Even Gildarts appearing doesn´t make it a great. The fight won´t last long at this point and most likely will be finished in less than a Chapter, Gildarts will be removed from the game due to fatigue, fighting off fodder. Although he´s the only guy who should be in top condition.

If it´s surprisingly different and he gets to fight more Sprrigan than him, this chapter upgrades in retrospect, but that´s unlikely.
