This crucifixion scene is nothing of the like. It's just gratuitous violence , most probably for shock value. It doesn't change the fact that half of the Spriggans were irrelevant (at best) so far. It doesn't change the fact that this arc lacks a chain of events. It's just filler until we get to Zeref and Acno.

It went from a ridiculous arc to a ridiculous arc coupled with a gratuitous scene.



I can't understand where the glorification of this chapter or the "in your face haterzz" comments come from......



I'm kind hoping the rumor that 6 of the members were created only to extend the arc and the next 6 are the true threat

I am still interested in August and invel, since he seems to be the right hand man to zeref (has anyone here seen daredevil, he reminds me of Wesley to the kingpin) and to this series he is basically begging for a fight from gray, and we can finally see the extent of full demon slayer. So yeah I want to be excited for that. Also juvia has a few death flags flying

Those bastards will pay for what they did to Sabertooth and Blue Pegasus!

I swear, the amount of 'epikkk!!!1' titles Mashima gives to his villains/antagonists for them to get curb-stomped a few chapters later, makes me wonder - will August live up to his 'hype' (which I'm not feeling - I was hyped for Brandish and we all know what happened to her)?



God Serena is another great example of this, as he pretty much was kek material. Why did Mashima even bother to introduce him?

Don't really get why there are complaints about them being alive tbh. It isn't gonna suddenly turn into an ultra dark manga where everyone is killed off in groups lol.

It's bad that Sabertooth and Blue Pegasus was taken down and crucified, but wouldn't it better for Alvarez to just kill them if they (or maybe some spriggans) were able to incapacitate them?
