Fairy Tail Chapter 474 Discussion

Wow what a chapter, first of all the cover page, I love these types of cover pages. Well I don't what to make of God Serena, there is no picture of him, but there is no picture of him crossed out like Wahl. We have a nice little Natlu moment, I am cool with that, and this is great news for everyone else because Natsu is out, that means more fight for them, with Natsu the spotlight out for now, so better get in those fights now before Natsu gets up.



So the people left over at Fairy Tail assume someone helped them beat Wahl, wait till they find out, Laxus defeated him all by himself. Is Mavis thinking of surrendering, I don't know, she seems at wits end.



So Gray's team they are beating up these foot soldiers, when some of them slip through the crack, someone helps them, and it is Merody, she is here looking awesome, and Lyon agrees. Funny thing is as far the world of fan fics, one popular ship is Lyon and Merody, and Lyon checks her out, it is something that was just started in the fandom came to life, I don't know how often you see that. Maybe Romeo and Wendy are going to have their moment soon. Anyway Merody is here, that must mean the rest of Crime Sorciere is here.



Erza and Kagura they are having their problems, I don't think they got to Neihhart yet, it is just foot soldiers, but again it is the numbers, just like with Gray, Juvia, and Lyon, sometimes even with footer, numbers can be a problem, and who should show up and I think everyone saw it coming, it is Jellal. Erza is worried about him showing his face, but Jellal is right, with Alverez invading, the council has no time to worry about him, and Kagura is about to have another seizure.



Dimaria is just playing with her opponents, she is acting like a Bond villain or a 1960's Batman TV show villain, when you have the change to kill your opponents, just play around with them, that always works, I liked Dimaria, but I hate how dumb Hiro is making her, she seemed to be intelligent at first, but lately OMG, it is like Hiro is trying to write out of a hole he created but making the villain dumb, anyway she is going to kill Wendy because she messed up her face, again I think if it is a male villain that gets angry about his face getting hit, anyway stopped by OMG, when I saw the outfit this person had, I knew it was going to her, but I was fearful we going to see an old lady in that outfit, but Ultear and she is young.



I can't wait till we get an explanation on that, I do wonder if this is two chapters the Spriggan 12 have cured their enemy of something, Wahl cured Laxus of his sickness, perhaps Dimaria may have giving Ultear her time back, I wonder if this is a temporary thing, I guess we will find out soon. Next chapter Dimaria will use her tramp card, the next chapter doesn't give me much of a hint of what is to come.



This chapter the original Crime Sorciere shows up, when will we see the rest of them, did Rusty join them in the mean time, I expected Sorano to show up in the North, Erik might show up in Magnolia, we will find out soon enough. Great chapter, though I am sure a lot of people are going to be complaining about Ultear and why she is back.

Ultear back! I see everyone complaining but honestly I could care less, that was an awesome surprise and I could not be more happy! Mashona looks like he's setting up this arc to be the last, the epic fights have only just begun!

This arc started strong and 465 was one of the best chapters in the entire manga and since then its fizzling out quickly. And once again the Spriggans have done nothing.. It's like they're taking advice from watching Glasslip. Dimaria has a great design power and name yet Mashima isn't doing anything with it. And gets kicked in the face by lolis.... Again. Compare this to her battle with Ezel where she barely escaped with her life and had rage mode when seeing her best friend literally about to be eaten head first in front of her



And Ultear is back.. One of the few good things about GMG gone. We knew she wasn't dead but she was written to be out of the story. Same with Aquarius yet screw that now. And now she's back in her normal state..

Lol what is 'Glasslip'? Also while we're on this topic I'm not sure what to think of this chapter. Me liking Ultear s a character and liking the fanservice she brought was a small price to pay. She had her arc and Her sacrifice. Her story was supposed to be done. Why is Hiro doing this recent stretch of backtracking?  And Dimaria hasn't done anything yet

Complete Wtf! How tf did Ultear do it? Mashima bruh you got some explaining to do nigga. Thought her life energy was sucked out of her or something. Oh well at least one of my fave girls back to where she should be :) . Also i usually bag on fairy tail for being too hard on that shounen power of friendship BS (Not saying this isn't one of them moments), but this is an exception. Ultear gonna fuck Dimaria

You guys are overlooking the idea why ultear is back.... Dimaria spell "Time Sealing: Age Seal" it locks in someone's age probably . And keep in mind she said it is her own world . Meaning only she has frozen her age in time . Ultear is only able to fight her because she too has her true body trapped in this world. I bet once Dimaria is defeated she will resort back to her original age , which is probably an old lady. I mean it would make sense why she has been around all this time to win many wars/battles .



even if Dimaria sealed Ultear's age, that is so random that she will suddenly appear in the battlefield. She is an old lady. And it's a war.



Maybe a magician healed her. A strong magician.

Kinda weirded out by Ultear coming back. But at least she's young again. Always thought she was one of the hottest girls in this series. Lol.
