But then previous arc we have natsu treating tartors like a game. Hasn't it always been life or death (from their perspective)

He took serious Tartarus, he still keeps his usual self, but who knows how he feels deep down. We rarely see what Natsu thinks. I thought by now people would get that. We often see what other characters think but not Natsu.

No the conversation is about a scene that was clearly meant for comedy not character development.

This chapter was surprisingly good, these minor changes that they made was really something I believe this manga needed. First of all the fact that FT wasn't all like:' we're gonna beat the fuck out of everyone' was a good thing, seeing them tremble was good. They managed to uplift everyone too which was a pro. Natsu's thinking ahead for once and the next chapter seems to give Lucy a reasonable chance over that size mage. Although that mage's body is better than that of Lucy's.

Mirajane looked nice too.

I'm not actually sure how I feel about this chapter. There was a lot of hit and miss. Especially that last part. I guess I'll just have to wait and find out.

Interesting situation here. The fodder solder are advanced enough the team risk tiring out to quickly. The lieutenants seem to have enough skill to be 1v1 with a near s class member

Which means Ezra is doomed for one thing. Since when does exhaustion matter to natsu? Never he usually keep going or god will send a fireball to charge him up
