He could have been hiding somewhere there so next chapter they might show him by suprise if chance given. Everything is changed too, and its the perfect moment,  so why not



Laxus is too big to not be shown if even a background character like Lisanna got panel time. I doubt it will be him

Something shouldn't force feels like After Story, though. I think it's more or less exposition for the next chapter.
