On an unrelated side note gajeel now has scars on his arms wonder if its just from training with panther lily in this past year or if he fought a very strong opponent capable of breaking through his iron dragon scales.

That demon slaying magic really did screw Gray after all..

Why not both? From his exposition and Breiya's personal conclusion, it would seem that his thoughts of END made him corruptible by his own powers, and now he's lost in the madness that they've induced. So he did have a purpose in joining Avatar, though it wasn't revenge strictly against Avatar--but the principle still makes it comparable to Silver's motives.



Kinda makes the whole argument you had with others last week about Gray being evil vs Gray infiltrating Avatar seem moot, huh? Both sides were partly right.

How is Gray anything like Sasuke? You people are acting like Sasuke was the first character ever obsessed with revenge in all of anime/manga history. It's getting slightly annoying now.

I can't believe that like ten more people made a Gray/Sasuke comparison after I pointed out its ridiculous. I have lost faith in most of the people on MAL, this is just sad.

Other than the name I'm not really seeing it. Wasn't Mary around Gray's age? This girl in Avatar clearly looks much younger. They also don't seem to know each other literally at all.
