That was a really good ending for this arc, plus I like on the most part what effects this arc had on the characters, except Wendy's hair growing back it's things like this that makes me angry at Mashima, but things like the FT disbanding, which caught of guard btw I thought Makarov's era has ended and Laxus was next, make me give credits to him.Doranbolt beign a FT member is meh-ok to me.
And final Natsu beign END wasn't much of a shocker, but it was a good revelation.
That's the way Gray, there is no better consolation than boobs

I find it funny that people at first bitch about Wendy cutting her hair (She only did it to even it out since she lost part of it in the fight) and then do a complete 360 when she gets it restored back (Which Hiro Mashima basically hinted several times over with cover art and Cancer's magical hair growth potion). Fans are fickle over the silliest things. No she did not cut to even things up,she cut her hair showing her resolve and said that she will not cry and whine anymore, that's the main reason.Somewhat the same as what Sakura did on Naruto, only then it was shown that she had pride for that long hair and why she let it grow.
I didn't bitch about Wendy cutting her hair,I just thought it was silly to cut her hair just to show her resolve, now if you do something stick with it and don't reverse it.
Also I'm not arguing about Cancer's magical growth potion that could so such a thing.
Niptick? Maybe,but oh well..
Wendy's hair was already ruined after the battle. Sensibly she probably wanted to keep her long hair (Which was proven by Cancer fixing it) but only cut it because she already lost a huge chunk of hair on one side of her head. Why would she just leave it that way? Yes it was her showing resolve by cutting it, but I don't think her resolve was shown just through her cutting her hair but also through her attitude.
