Aff... if iam not being clear iam sorry, its easy if its to speak in person... I said and i will repeat: If you start reading,writing, etc. you will understand people etc.
A human being is and always be someone who get used to habits no matter what (Ex: Some who always in the morning trow a rock at a wall since years will repeat that unconsciously, until it changes). When i said you gave up on something just cause it was like before it made look bad.
1. You said since GMG Fairy Tail was bad. then you said you like Fairy tail. Now you say it wasnt that great (just fun and decent)... i really dont get it. Since the begin Fairy Tail was about friendship power, plot armor etc. is to give messages to us, just like Naruto, Elfen Lied etc. You dont get that, you want stuff to be like you want and you think thats the best and you turn be a narcissist.
My assumption was unclear and iam sorry for that maybe i should rush things like that... but i get used to people like that and i know how they will become.
And once again i will repeat: A long term anime will have is bad moments, thats for sure. Like Naruto,Bleach and ONe piece. But all of them have a lot of fans.
To me i like to read the message that anime give to us (the good ones the bad ones) and of course action it helps and we had a lot of that. Yeah true sometimes is kinda boring seeing things like this but a person gets used to it, its not like is hurting in your life...
PS: Afro Happy was funny, Igneel appearance was great ( you want him to appear out of nowhere in a volcano? gg), torturing Erza was part of the plan to ask where Jellas were is that abd? is for the history... Only Minerva could be done better, true.
And BTW, I said i dint CARE about you quitting the manga, but i DISAGREE about your reason to do that.

I didn't contradict myself; I said I enjoyed Fairy Tail at the beginning... I can't enjoy something that I find 'fun and decent'? You missed my point: Fairy Tail has become overbearing with it's message. We don't need to hear a cheesy speech about how important friendship is to Erza, etc every single time she has a fight; it's repetitive and predictable.
I'm still unsure what you're trying to say here.
Of course they will; I totally understand that. The problem I have with Fairy Tail is it continues to make the same mistakes over and over; Mashima does not evolve as a writer.
I never claimed it was 'hurting me', just because I'm dropping a series because I don't enjoy it any longer doesn't mean it was hurting me. If people still enjoy it that's totally fine with me. I too like to look at the messages in anime and other media but Fairy Tail's message is incredibly repetitive, the message never goes anywhere and doesn't make you think.
Afro Happy was bad writing; there's no way he should have survived a nuke that could destroy a whole town. It killed whatever possible emotion could have come from that scene. Igneel's appearance was anti-climactic due to the fact that although yes, there was foreshadowing, all of it was dropped after being mentioned and never elaborated on again. No, the way Erza's torture scenes were executed is what's bad; the amount of body shots shown was completely unnecessary.

Yay, more people bitching about nakama power. I think you all need to take a reality check and stop reading Fairy Tail, because that basic foundation of the story and characters will never change. I'm sure I'm the only one who enjoyed the chapter, because even though its clear Erza will win because plot reasons, this is still the one villain that has royally fucked with her the most out of everyone else.
I personally don't care about the nakama power. They're a guild they help each other out, makes sense I can live with that. The problem is Erza and how her every fight follows the same pattern.
