Honestly, I don't think it's about whether they can defeat END or not.



1. Remember, Igneel was not able to defeat END and I doubt the fairy tail members are strong enough to defeat him. I mean, when the dragons raided the capital, they weren't able to defeat a single dragon, which makes Igneel hella more stronger than the fairy tail member.



2. Zeref told Natsu that it's up to him to decide whether he let END live or die.



I don't think it's not that Igneel couldn't defeat him because he's not strong enough, it's more like when END dies something will "end" like end of the world or something?

Power-up for Gray? I really hope that if he gets in fight with END he won't fail after saying 'i will beat you bla bla' and after that Natsu coming to save him when he is about to die or something like that...

As for people raging about Gray's upgrade - Lucy got one, Wendy got one. Why not Gray?

Gray is one of the best characters in the manga, and it was just so great to see him with a powerup he really needed. I'm proud to be his fan.

Awww Gray looked so cool and sexy in that last panel. I hope his powerup is permament, and it makes me glad that he received a boost. He was long overdue for one. Considering other characters like Natsu ALWAYS get freebies -_-
