That doesn't necessary mean that the magic itemself reduce all of them, maybe it want to say that this magic lower the age and in chain reaction all the rest cuz you become a child and as a child is natural to not be weaker than you are adult. But with an old guy is exact the opposed if you reduce his age will become stronger. At least this way i see it.
