It's not surprising that Zirconis will do something like that. Remember that this dragon has a short attention span and would not talk to humans seriously but cats... any flamers should just go stand in the corner.

i seriously suspect that Mashima is using fanservice to soften the grim foreshadowing of Natsu. "I'll give up humanity for my nakama." huge death flag right there. Is Natsu going to turn into a dragon or something?
