Also, interesting to note, I doubt Erza actually dies regardless because wouldn't Future Lucy have told Jellal about it and had him prevent it? OR.. Jellal said something was different. Didn't Kagura only see Jellal because he was chasing Future Lucy? So maybe in Future Lucy's timeline, Kagura and Erza never fought, and the reason for Erza's (possible) death/defeat was actually because of Lucy's interference.

The blood is almost certainly a side effect of Archenemy probably uses the blood of the wielder to generate an ultimate and final attack.



I also don't think Erza will die easily simply because it would render Simon's sacrifice to protect her a waste.



Substituting Milliana would guarantee Erza's victory. It would be enough of a life changing event to evolve Erza's powers. The rage will be more than enough to overcome both Minerva and Kagura (for involving Milliana).
