I always kinda imagined Zeref being the first Godslayer. Like the Godslayer of death or something. I also imagined Mavis being a godslayer as well, such as of light, but lately I've begin to doubt it more and more.

Happy is the biggest shipper of all pairs

It would be ok either way, a shame to end up- but then again, a shame if it screws up later.



@Darklight I think I would be dissapointed if Mashima pulls this 'there are gods' stunt...I think that would just be like a DS recycling plot. I'm more for god slaying to be explained along with the whole lost magic concept, although I WOULD like an explanation of the name.

Please tell me that Minerva lied and Lecter is dead, I hate him.



The new enemies look pretty cool, especially the girls, now let Mirajane go berserk and rape them.

If Gajeel doesn't DESTROY BOTH dragon slayers, I honestly don't know what I will do, but I'd be extremely disappointed. This is bullshit if you ask me. Give Gajeel the "power of feelings" if anything, damn. I hope Minerva is just using the hell out of him, and she's the only one with any real power in ST. I don't even think Orga should produce any challenge at all judging by how it's went so far.



I mean, I know this is how FT has always been, and I love it, but let me calculate this.  Against Natsu both DS went all out, into dragon force. I honestly don't believe Natsu went above 50% of his full power in that fight, but he still beat both of them. So each of them were less than 25% of HALF of natsu's power. So each DS was less than 1/8 of Natsu's full power in that fight. So for Sting to even match Natsu, he would have to get at least 8x stronger. Just from feelings.



This could all be unnecessary, because I don't actually expect him to even beat Gajeel, but if he does, I've gave plenty of explanation as to why I would be extremely upset.

Well it's Fairy Tail, you just don't read and take it seriously for plot, but for actions, comedic moments, romance, etc. Even Mashima himself seems to not take this Manga seriously (from an interview somewhere), and with these constant talk about power of feeling, looks like he really means that. Kinda like: "Yes the power level in this Manga is now officially depend on feelings. You don't like it? Then FUCK you".



Anyway, this arc has been dragged on so long already, can't really see Mashima spending much time on these out-of-no-where characters, they will probably get wiped out for 1 to 2 chapters at best.
