Zeref never even mentioned Lucy. Not that she is unimportant(she obviously has SOME role), but nevertheless Zeref never said that he wants Lucy, he said he wants Natsu(suggestive as hell XD)
The thing is that Zeref and Lucy never met eachother on Tenrou Island. We can't be sure until he sees her.

could it be that lucy is A dragon maybe and is Lucy is related to human Acnologia?it seens like it.Not so sure,but if i have A bad feeling about the next chapter something going to happen to lucy. It be werid if zeref ends up as lucy half brother or something I be laughing.and maybe thats how zeref knows lucy because there related like half brothers holy crap:O.

Well,Mashima kept saying on the volume notes that he wanted to explain each character's back-story,and so he has been doing that before the GMG arc,where each arc had some character back-story shown.Then after we got some development on a bunch of characters we're getting more on the plot itself.But the plot has already been foreshadowed a long time ago on several times(normally between the arcs).
The reason we had Acnologia attack FT back then was to show how much the mains will have to evolve to be able to beat one of the main villains(if not the main villain) of the series.That kind of stuff.
Not to mention that EVERY arc has been directly connected to dragons or Zeref in one way or the other
Just because main characters were not "tackling" the main plot and instead had to deal with consequences of the main plot, it doe snot mean that that plot was not there.
