Skip Beat! Chapter 273 Discussion

This is just getting worse and worse. There's no enjoyment anymore from this manga and even no decent artwork to compensate for lackluster story. I was fine with it, I really was because the story was still engaging but now it's just total bullshit. I see no point in reading further.

Maybe when it's ended the reading experience would be better but as it is I feel only irritation. I'm not even sure I want them together anymore, so many stupid misunderstandings must be a sign they are not meant for each other.

Ren needs to make things clear to Kyoko

I’ve been in this for over ten years, so it’s too late for me to abandon this story now. But holy crap, PLEASE, someone give those two thickheads a good shake ‘cause I can’t take this shit anymore.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's grown tired of this terrible pacing.  This series used to have so much energy in each chapter and was faster paced.  Now you'll be lucky if the characters get through a conversation in one chapter.



Did something perhaps happen to the mangaka?  I'm reminded of D.Grayman and that it's chapter releases are so rare due to the mangaka now having a hand injury (from what I've been told).  Maybe something similar is going on with the creator of Skip Beat?

I was just thinking that I was so tired of it all.... and then I came to the forum to see if ppl were liking this whole "going around in circles" and I was just being picky, but everyone is saying the same as I thought while reading it lol



I am going on "hiatus", I will go back reading after 4 or 5 chapters being released, it is not enjoyable to read 1 at a time anymore

I can't believe I am saying this but despite all the drama even hana yori dango had more fluidity than skip beat as it is lately!

Damn all these misunderstandings are so unnecessary it really makes it seem like there is absolutely no progress in their relationship... i feel like it will get more and more dragged... just when you thought there would be a good progress sth happens that takes them to zero...

Yeah. After this effing chapter, (Which btw, they "speak" soooo vaguely, to actively force misunderstandings and miscommunications, that it pissing me off to no end!) I decided that I will stop reading skip beat, until end of vol 50 or till the manga ends, whichever comes first. Of course there is always the possibility that I will die of old age before either of the above happens, because not only it is one chapter every month but now from an everage of 25 page we are down to 18-19, and the way this is going I won't be surprised, that it goes down to 16. And then there is 1 month hiatus every year. I loved Tokyo Crazy Paradise. I still love it. I adored beginning of skip beat. but maaaaaaaaaaaaan enough is enough.

I ran out of breath I am taking a hiatus from skip beat or I am going to get ulcers after every useless chapter. And anybody who's getting angry with me right now, thinking well if you know so much draw your own manga, seriously the only purpose of this chapter was to put more distance between ren and kyoko and make the manga longer and the plotline more convoluted than necessary.

Yes Mangakas are the rulers of their own mangas. Yes I do respect their work, but I am the ruler of my purse and apart from reading the scanlations to support the mangaka i buy the 3 in 1 edition of skip beat even though the official translations make me wanna puke. well no more!
