No I feel the same. This chapter was actually normal but because of the action scene there's no dialouge and so I think it feels shorter. But you are right, recent chapters tend to be 3~5 pages short. (chap. 249,248,247...)



I think she will get the role. After all there are 3 Chidoris and only 2 Momijis. So she can act the scene again. I just wonder why Nakamura-sensei is dragging this out, this role has to mean some major development for Kyoko...I wish for her to have at least once in this Manga a leading role... -.-

It's just amazing how Kyoko can't restrain herself from fangirling over Kanae as Chidori in front of everyone.

As for the chapter, it was great, but I wonder if Kyoko will get the roll. It would be awesome if she did, but then again, that'd be kinda predictable.

Great recovery thanks to Momo's cue. It did not fool the director who saw the cue and realized what happened. At least he is giving her one last chance

Kimiko thinks she has won  She has used these tactics before to fluster rivals where she is not throwing them out of moving car

Yashiro was here to prevent just such an occurrence. He just does not realize Kyoko's feelings for Ren like Kimiko does. Kyokuo thought the ring to Kimiko as a White Day gift meant more to Ren whereas she did not get a White Day gift

is it just me or the recent chapters have been getting shorter and shorter? The chapters are amazing but the length makes it such a tease to build such annoying anticipation and patience testing.



regarding to the details of the chapter, i'm actually really worried she won't get the part but it did a minor hint that she is on a thin line on getting the role or not.



Would it be a waste if she doesn't get the part? Would it be a perfect time to insert Ren if she didn't?

                        I have to admit, that scene they both acted out with the sword was brilliant. Very dramatic and stylish. I think Kyoko taking on the role of Momji will be interesting, hopefully make a strong impression.

I look forward to the critical reaction to those two's performance in the real deal ;)

The enemy didn't say anything special, she just know something more.  Fortunately Moko saved her.  The director approves her a bit (it seems?  That's what I felt) and let her stay and try.
