She looked very beautiful. I wanna see Sho see her too:) And Ren will be definitely jealous!  I don't want her to be on guard so much around Ren.What did she mean by her existence is detestable to Ren?

Hmm about all that back-steps talk, I don't know but I believe it's actually a good move. Think with me, in the past Kyoko would never admit her feelings, worse, she'd never have feelings -of that sort, I mean- And we see here that she's willing to admit- and fight- those feelings. Perhaps the 'fighting part' isn't the best for us fans, but it's a positive move none the less.



Perhaps making Ren jealous is for the best, we all know his dark, jealousy-induced mood and maybe in the next few chapters some proceedings that will make our little fan hearts let out a yelp of happiness will occur. I'm excited for the next chapters x3



Oh, and I miss the beagles xD Shou too, but not as much.

it really looks like she's going to try make tsuruga-san hate her or get jealous, the only way i can possibly like that outcome is if ren's dark side shows up as response ... mwahahah

in the beginning of the chapter, i was like "YESSS!! FINALLY KYOKO REALIZED HER FEELINGS!!!!" and then by the end i was like "soo....are we back to where we started??"



what im confused about is, so did she lock her feelings all away AGAIN?? or did she say that she managed to lock them away again UNTIL she came to the party and meet ren???



i really hope she and ren can develop cuz now i feel like the author is just delaying them being together so she can extend the manga...=_=;;;;



also anyone know where Shou is? he disappeared a few chapters ago and now i forgot what was the last thing that happened to him was haha ^^;;;;

It was depressing to read most of the posts on here, tearing up the whole chapter and the last few. Thank you, Sirrah, for your post. I was like, "Wait! No one is giving Nakamura-sensei a chance!" She has always done a wonderful job, ne? There was nothing wrong with Kyouko and her holding onto Kijima's arm! I mean, jeez, you would think everyone was having a dirty affair back in the old days when it was custom to be a gentleman and lady. She was in debt to him, and it's not like Kijima is forceful and outright rude. Also, I think the way Nakamura-sensei dealt with Kyouko-chan's feelings were realistic. Would you want Kyouko to all of a sudden go "What am I being an idiot for? I love him" and just jump into his arms like some sappy princess story or bad soap opera? Kyouko-chan is tough, that's why I love her. And romance with Ren was NEVER the whole core of the story. Anyone forgotten that? But yeah I do agree with the fact that the comedy is being sucked out of the story. But then, every story has its climax. This is Skip Beat!'s.

Really? To me it sounded, as if Princess Rosa's chain is under repair and only the stone itself is safe and sound at a throne or whatever Kyoko build for her. This is the main fact, why she paniced when she found out, Kijima wanted to see her twice as mature and beautiful. Because, after all, the 'mature spell' is something Princess Rosa casted on her while being Natsu. And she feared not to fulfil this task Kijima gave her. (Kyokos weird relationships to jobs, eh?)

What I meant was: last we saw Princess Rosa was when she gave it to Ren, and there was something wrong with the lock. Now we learn it's back in Kyouko's possession, and the stone has come completely lose.

How did that happen? Ren is safe and sound, so he must've said something to her about how well it worked while giving it back.



I love the hint of progress, but not in a way that leaves a lot unanswered.

I can't wait for the next chapter.  I thought the look didn't suit kyoko at all...but I can't wait to see what kind of character she makes for the look and how she reacts to Ren.  She may have taken a step back, but I'm sure it won't be long until the locks are broken.

She totally is taking a step backwards, I just hope during the party ren totally knocks her senses and finally breaks all the locks :)

GAH! I squeeleddd sooo much in this chapter! it was unbelievable.

Kyoko knew how she felt all along, and here she had us fooled that she was ignorant even when he kissed her cheek!

& I totally knew he was going to confess to her that time her precious necklace broke.



I have no idea whether Kyoko is saying that she hates the fact that Ren unlocked all the locks on her heart, or she hates him for doing so..

thats why shes holding on to kijima-san just to make ren feel hurt?

Oh well.  1 step forward, two steps back. Hopefully it will be one carthweel forward next chapter. I love how pretty she is in this chapter, though.

I'm afraid it wont be something like that and Ren will get hurt a lot.

Cause why should he ask Kijima for something like that, he knows Kijima.

and definitely doesnt want to share Kyoko.

Okay, firstly : I absolutely loved the cover of the chapter. Kyoko looked very cool and it definitely did show again the great artistic skills of Nakamura.



And I must say, I loved the chapter. It is typical Kyoko to be quite aware that there are thos dangerous-love-feeling inside of her, but hoping to have them locked away. And I think that’s her drive for the few next chapters. Fearing Rens hands, because, as she says: They are like Tsunamis to her feelings ;)

This Kijima was bound to appear again, after we saw how Ren wanted to shield Kyoko from him. And I think it’s a good think that he is there. After all, Ren will be forced to do something about courting Kyoko, when he is confronted with her being with a man that would do Kyoko no good ( a player, sort of) and who would definitely go after her. It is what Ren fears the most, I guess, besides her bond with Sho. And while Sho had Reino to notice, that Kyoko definitely is a adorable woman and actress, who will grow to be even more loveable, Kijima will be Ren’s Reino, I think. I mean, we have seen his face when she entered the room with Kijima and did not, as he expected, immediately rush to him and greet him.

And after all – Kyoko once again had one of her transformations. I don’t like her hair very much, though, but it could just be that I am not used to seeing her without a pony. What I could imagine is, that Kyoko will use this ‘Beauty’, which reminds her of Princess Rosa’s Magic, as a shield, to create a new role in which she can hide from Ren. Her face was kind of blank, when she look at him. Though I can imagine her wince in fear inside. What if Ren once states that she is beautiful? She protected herself from it and now she is really, really beautiful and stands in front of Ren in a room from which she cannot flee.

I really look forward to the next chapter, even though I kind of fear, that Ren will get hurt.



About the locks : I think they were blown away when Ren kissed her cheek. And she feared it. And now, afore the party, relocked her heart. Which will probably mean a change in her behaviour towards ren. She will try to be without emotions that are what she considers close to love, to her nightmare of how Sho hurt and used her.



And ‘bout Kyoko holding onto Kijimas arm : It’s only natural, I think. He held it out for her. He paid her outfit. He said he wanted to be her escort for the evening. It’s innocent. Why shouldn’t she do it? The one who is not allowed to touch her is Ren, Kijima doesn’t mean danger for her.
