Buraiden Gai Chapter 28 Discussion

                        Abe’s definitely my favorite character so it was awesome to see him again.  I’d wish he was more in this honestly!  He got the letter and started to scrutinize it showing his rare sense of duty.  He deciphered the meaning based on the circumstances and was looking for anything that should show the time of the video was false, rain, blackouts, delivery, planes…  Hirata got news of this from Kurita who was definitely in on it all, but Hirata was not nearly as observant as Gai or Abe and missed out on the flaw.  The flaw that Abe realized while getting free drinks from the store that bribes him and ignoring a robbery outside, that wasn’t where his heart was after all…  hehehe.  It has to do with the sound…



I think we’ve seen here that his life is still the same as when we left it.  Still being pestered by his debts, drinking away the day and reading the newspaper instead of focusing on his emails.  The day that he’ll become better than a bug has not come yet and honestly that could be an implicit reason for why he wants to help Gai.  Beyond monetary reasons Gai represents the will to change.
