Buraiden Gai Chapter 26 Discussion

                        The beginning was intense with that dynamic shot of the search party and that confrontation with the guards.  The moment where Gai had to try to finish writing his message was great and although the message wasn’t the most clear, I’m sure Abe can get something from it.  The guard was smart and prepared, waiting for more backup before acting and it put Gai in an incredibly tough spot, one far worse than the last time he was here.  Luckily that kid Gai told not to follow him totally followed him and got Gai out of that situation.  It seems when push comes to shove it can make anyone take action, but I do wonder about the other kids!  And unfortunately even though he took action he’s still relying on Gai’s guidance, so he has to look after him!



And then… Gai pulled off his special move for the 2nd time in a row, HIDING IN THE DRAWER!!!  Gai hiding his way through these scenarios so the guards look for him and leave is hilarious.  The first time I thought it was just clever because who in their right mind would stay behind, but pulling it off for a second time was just hilarious.  I think the humor in it is very intentional.



Now Gai has a plan… He’s in a predicament so this should be interesting.
