Buraiden Gai Chapter 6 Discussion

                        We are now in Gai’s perspective for sure!  We even heard his thoughts.  We heard his anger and plan to get revenge, his plan to leave during that day off and escape that way.  Something reminiscent to Kaiji part 2!  He even has a new ally, a biker named Kurata, another punk but one more to the point.  Not so quiet.  And then the chief.  A part of me thought that he may have had good intentions.  That it was possible for him to be so nervous and be such an errand boy yet do so for the sake of these kids.  Unfortunately that was not true as he knocked them out and took them to a very shady place.  Any time something like this happens I think of Battle Royale, and now that this is clearly not going as one would expect that information about getting a free day was most likely a lie.  If Gai somehow didn’t have the information of Abe’s taken or if he remembers it he could somehow get a letter out, that’s something to keep in mind.



The birds eye view of the plane was so pretty.  I don’t think I’ve seen Fukumoto draw a cityscape like that before it, shocked me!  Also, Gai totally recognize that nazi who woke them up.  He looked actually shocked for once and referred to him as “that guy” whereas Kurata was asking “who are you?”.   Maybe this is Battle Royale 2.0 and this is Gai’s second time through it, lol!
