I just started this manga and Im starting to love it. I just confuse with the special side story in this chapter. When yuki said "This is the only spot that is warm" was it Zero who had been standing there till morning that left a warm spot in front of Yuki's door.

I think it was a combination of making sure she heals from her illness and being worried about her and also his distrust of vampires. It is quite beautiful, but it also highlights the growing tension between Zero and Kaname as interests of Yuki.
