This is too much simplification and I wasn't talking about a war itself but about exposure of events for examples:  Gudrid convinced Thorkell to stop fight between him and Thorfinn, Thorfinn surving every fights without killing or this chapter et ceterahow is that childish? That  such a superficial way at looking at maturity and its nuances.
