Well that went more smoothly than expected, I kinda expected Thorkell to maybe put up some resistance but I guess he has filled his war appetite to the max for now.

So that's how it ends, no more Jomsvikings, no Jomsborg. I don't think the norsemen would stop fighting though that'd be boring for them

I doubt that Jomsvikings are fine with this, but it's not like they could do anything at that moment. They can't just disobey King Cnut's orders, nor do they have a chance against him. It's quite possible that some of them will form anti-King factions in the future, but I doubt we will see much of that. Most of them have no choice but to find something else to do now.

I thought he will take Baldr with him.

Thorfinn you are such a badass but also f*ck you. You are the main reason why historians and archaeologists have such a hard time finding Jomsborg lol

                        I didn't expect Thorfinn to accept the mantle of a Chieftan, but his orders make sense. I am happy we can now continue journey to Constantinople.
