This chapter had me laughing. The struggle to take care of a baby is real!

I want everyone to go with Thorfinn. Sigurd, the dog, the baby.



Though I don't think they can really take Karli.

at what point in thorfinn's life did he get taught how to take care of children? was it askeladd? did askeladd sit thorfinn down one day and explain to him something about how the world works beyond working under his command?

Karli is more than a handful lol.



Funny chapter, Thorfinn's shocked expression had me rolling.

I really like how Thorfinn is aware of his naive hopes. He knows building a more peaceful world will be difficult but he's still going for it anyway even though he has no idea what the exact solution will be.



I am surprised Sigurd caught up to them so fast. I am curious how this is going to go. I doubt Sigurd will do anything too rash seeing as he's not really a bad guy, just has a strict and pressured upbringing. My guess is they will somehow make him take the baby but I am not sure yet.

I bet they will somehow con Sigurd into keeping the baby. Though I hope Thorfinn keeps the dog.

I lol'd pretty hard at the conversation between thorfinn and gudrid about breasts. Hope they find someone who will take karli in.

Sigurd is not as nasty or scary as I previously thought. Maybe he'll become an ally at some point?
