Vinland Saga Chapter 80 Discussion

yea i think maybe king canute will kill einar and thorfinn will find a happy medium between his previous bloodlust and  his new preachy pasifism.

It might have something to do with the rate of how often the group gets a new chapter, how often a new chapter is actually released or that they get a few , then spread them out monthly so as to not create even longer delays.

That's pretty much what I'm getting at though. It's not just that the chapters are short, they're just not advancing anything or at least I'm not seeing it just yet (aside from obviously canute marching straight to Thorfinn).

That was over quicker than I expected. I actually feel sorry for the guy.

As they say: quality over quantity. I prefer to read a good story with great lineart once a month rather than boring shounen blob that comes out every week. As for the chapter, Gardar looks a little like Thorfinn used to when he's mad in the fight. We can clearly see the change in Thorfinn's point of viev, I'm a little dissapointed though, it was one of these meaningless chapters again ...

I think we're all annoyed with this saga of pure farming. I also agree with the slight rays of hope and then the sudden betrayal of said hope. I think I'll just continue other stuff and once again try and forget Vinland Saga until the next chapter comesup.

I think Thorfinn is going to become the Viking Gandhi.
