The last vestiges of a conscience in Canute....gone.  Excellent chapter.

Like others said, I find it interesting that Thorfinn, who started out as a brute without conscience, is becoming a good guy, while as Canute, who started out as a gentle pacifist, is becoming more evil. Quite reminds me of Tezuka's Phoenix volume 4.

This was a very nice chapter, I like the development on Canute very much. A sort of a typical good guy becomes 'corrupted' by the crown plot, but it's executed quite well here, so I actually side with Canute here despite him killing his own brother with poison. The Light Yagami effect haha.

So, Sven (cursed head) was telling the truth about Canute poisoning his elder brother?

the end justify the means or necessary evil heh welp Canute made that his ideology too

Disliked. The chapter was interesting, but too short and had no Thorfinn in it. I mean, I understand and enjoy the fact that the story isn't just about him, but I wanted to know what happens to him next~!
