                        Hmmm, so thats why he has been fighting this whole time... though its hard to believe that is the reason he has been fiighting all this time. Also I wonder if Thorfinn will make it in time to get his revenge.

Oh wow, it's pretty great to see that Thorfinn has grown to respect Askeladd enough to risk his life for him. Pretty interesting, I like it.

Askeladd cutting a body with helmet in half and Thorkell throwing a spear from kms away? Lol that is such a reach.

This chapter was very intense though and we could see Askeladd's sword and combat skills. Plus fighting on snow is twice hard when you're alone and surrounded.

Thorfinn to the rescue, there is no other way.

Askeladd was badass in this chapter.

Well, most of the written sources from this time can be found in texts like sagas where accounts were described heavily exaggerated. If anything, the author is staying true to the sources. Most nations had these type of "heroes" of their time which often were able to slay mythical beasts and creatures as well lol
