Lin Feilu, or better known by her nickname—Green Tea Princess, was the best of all the scheming b*tches that the world had ever seen. She was the Oscar-winning actress among the masses with real life as her stage. Acting coy, slandering, feigning innocence, or playing the saint, she aced it all. Simply put, she was the proverbial villainess.

Ah, but retribution came way too early for this malicious personage and she died on her 27th birthday.

In death, Lin Feilu reflected on her career of 20 years as the Green Tea Princess. She was full of regret and remorse over the life she once led. She vowed, if there was an afterlife, she would atone for her misdeeds and be a good person.

She transmigrated into a five-year-old princess of the Dalin Dynasty. In the name of family, she had a sickly mother disfavoured by the emperor, a mentally challenged and daft older brother.

Her life was constantly in danger, with having little to eat and trying to stay warm.

The living environment was very harsh.

Lin Feilu, who wanted to be a good person: … You forced me! Sorry, I can only activate my unique skill.

Harem fight? Striving for favor? Climbing the ranks?

Apologies, but let me show you what it means to be slaughtered by a maxed out player.

Note: “Green Tea” is a woman who presents herself as innocent, sweet, and kind but is very scheming and calculative in reality.

I am delighted to have discovered this! I absolutely adore the main character; she's both hilarious and incredibly intelligent. Although it deviates from my usual reading preferences, I am thoroughly enjoying every moment of it.

"So far, I'm really enjoying it~ Our female lead is quite skilled at playing the innocent绿茶女和 manipulating others! The fact that she hasn't harmed anyone without their consent is a major plus in my book. And she genuinely loves her family - a true gem among them!"

"Five stars all the way! This novel is fantastic; it brings immense joy from beginning to end. I finished it via machine translation and managed to complete the entire story in just two days – the language wasn't too difficult to grasp. I'm certain I'll revisit this novel without getting bored, as I adore the FL's interactions with her family and those around her. The FL and ML's love story is super adorable <3

The only downside is that the novel feels quite short; I wish to delve deeper into the backstories of all the supporting characters, especially the First Prince. There's no clear explanation given about his relationship with Yanxin. Additionally, sometimes I feel like a paragraph is missing while reading consecutive chapters.

Nonetheless, it's an excellent read, and I highly recommend giving it a try. A big thank you to both the author and the translator for bringing this story to our attention ❤️"

This was an intriguing read, but it still fell into the familiar trope of her marrying a prince who later ascends to the throne. The story had its ups and downs, with plenty of happy, adorable, and even melancholic moments. It was undeniably sweet, although I felt that the narrative skipped over significant periods of time, which could have benefited from more depth. It would have been nice to see a more detailed exploration of her relationship with her second brother, as their initial animosity was brushed aside without proper explanation. Given his character, I believe this aspect deserved more attention. Despite this minor setback, overall, it was a satisfactory read.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire narrative, and it stood out to me. Despite its shorter length compared to other historical novels, the tone was light and the romantic storyline straightforward. The most intricate aspect was the inner conflicts between the siblings. One reason I particularly appreciate this book is that it delves into the unique dynamics of growing up within a royal family, examining how being born into privilege contrasts with a typical upbringing. It explores the challenges of navigating life in the imperial household, where unwanted competition becomes an inevitable part of the experience.

The narrative begins on a promising note, featuring intricate plots and cunning political machinations as the protagonist grapples with navigating a treacherous world. The宫廷如同一个尔虞我诈、勾心斗角的场所. Our lead character ingeniously employs her young appearance and guile, pretending to be a vulnerable child, to manipulate those around her and elevate her family to the upper echelons.

However, the pacing soon slows to a glacial pace, akin to molasses, as the focus shifts to the主角's cute antics and her actual childish behavior, which contrasts with the initially promised portrayal of a calculating and ruthless actress. Many readers seem to appreciate this more lighthearted 'slice of life' aspect, but for those, like myself, seeking intense court intrigue and a strategic protagonist, the story has dragged on for far too long.

At chapter 350, my patience ran thin, feeling that the series has drifted away from its initial premise. It becomes a meandering, uneventful tale with a hint of romance buried amidst the sluggishness. If you enjoy a leisurely pace and simple, everyday stories, this might suit your taste. The writing is competent, and the translation is commendable, but it's not what I was hoping for.

The start is impressive, but the subsequent progression has been underwhelming. The characters are well-developed, showcasing distinct personalities that make them easy to distinguish. The protagonist's bond with her siblings is particularly charming. However, her connection with the main love interest lacks depth compared to those familial ties, though it still exhibits a sweet dynamic.

As mentioned earlier, the beginning had high potential. Unfortunately, certain plot developments have proven lackluster or not entirely beneficial to the narrative. For instance, the subplot about delving into "Jianghu" feels forced and disconnected, almost as if it was introduced abruptly. It's entertaining in its own right, but it doesn't seem to fit coherently within the overall story. In fact, it might be slightly out of character for our protagonist.

This narrative is truly a masterpiece, and I'm absolutely enamored with it 💖. Lin Feilu's character as the Green Tea Princess is endearing; the dynamics between her and her siblings are warm and entertaining 😊. The relationship she shares with the main character is both well-developed and soothing. I wholeheartedly recommend this story!
