Ah, what a roller coaster ride indeed. FL had harbored feelings for ML for years, but after being rejected and discovering his unrequited love for someone else, she decided to move on. Little did she know, a passionate night under the influence turned into an unexpected addiction for him.

The Crown Prince initially orchestrated their encounter to foster a connection, as their union would be advantageous for his plans. However, he hadn't foreseen the intimate connection that developed. Now, complications arise due to his newfound addiction and his desire to make her his own.

In a twist, ML proposes to her after publicly rejecting her just a month prior, which coincides with the Crown Prince's agenda. This misunderstanding stems from FL feeling used and wanting clarity. Despite his mixed emotions – liking her deeply but unsure of love – he still wishes to marry her.

She struggles with their unclear relationship status, asking simply, "What are we?" Meanwhile, he's grappling with his feelings, admitting he likes her but isn't certain about love. In summary:

While he's not toxic or manipulative, his honesty can be hurtful, leaving both parties in a confusing and emotionally charged situation.

So far, it's been great. There have been plenty of delightful and subtle moments. I really appreciate the straightforward female lead who isn't naive and doesn't jump to conclusions. Her mindset towards love and self-awareness is absolutely adorable <3. To be honest, she's incredibly charming, and I can almost picture Richard wanting to sweep her off her feet <wink>. The story itself is lovely, the characters are well-developed, and the intimate scenes are gentle (which suits my taste). Their approach to their relationship is genuinely heartwarming.

However, there's one minor issue - Richard can be rather frustrating at times, I just wish he'd take the plunge and propose <facepalm>. As for now, that's where we stand, with more chapters yet to come <coming_soon>.
