What if you could become the best League of Legends player of all time, overnight? Chen Mu was a high-flying student who only cared about two things: scholarship money and his exam results.     Biased review cause well, translator here!

    Buuuuut just wanted to quickly come here to thank everyone for giving this novel a shot, we're really really excited to release this novel this week in conjunction with Worlds 2020! This has been one of the most technical novels we've worked on but we had a lot of fun researching League tactics while working on this novel. (Because how often do you get to tell your girlfriend that you're gaming for the sake of work?!) It is our sincere hope that you guys will enjoy this novel as much as we did translating it.     As much as I enjoy reading LoL theme videos, it is incredibly jarring to read champion names by their Chinese slang terms that have been translated.

    Examples:
    Blind Monk - Lee Sin
    Gun Dude - Graves
    Sun Lady - Leona
    Cardsharp - Twisted Fate
    Rock Man - Malphite
    Clockwork - Orianna
    VN - Vayne

    I understand that the author may have left it as slang terms in the raws but I dislike having to learn awkward slang in order to read a novel. Oh, also... Orianna is female.

    Gimmicky piece of trash. It is already bad enough every urban story has a LoL segment where MC impresses a girl.... Now its the entire story. Absolute trash. Dont even bother reading.

    A disappointing and underwhelming read, made worse by the injection of slang hero names being thrown everywhere. Great if you can remember the new names of heroes, terrible if you get confused.

    Cual es la gracia de un personaje que independientemente que tan compleja sea la situación , todo le salga bien.

    Los defectos son los que construyen al protagonista y si no los tiene el personaje no se siente humano , parece un robot ,un personaje unidimensional.

    Vamos de las 100k de novelas que tienen que qidian , no pueden encontrar un solo autor que se digne a intentar construir una historia decente ?

    No hay desarrollo de personajes , literalmente agarra cualquier otra novela de juegos , cámbiale el titulo del juego al del League of Legends  y no podrás distinguir las diferencias.

    So, first of all, if you even want to start reading this, it's going to be very helpful that you understand on how to play League of Legends (LoL). Because the whole story is about the MC becoming a Worlds winner, it contains lots of scenes of MC playing LoL, and if you don't play LoL, it may be hard to understand what's exactly going on in the story. For example, if I told you Blitzcrank hooked Jarvan during his E-Q combo into turret range, (which you'll see later) I'm thinking some of you wont understand. Thankfully, this novel has pretty smooth descriptions about what's going on in the game. Who knows, maybe you'll start to playing LoL after reading this, especially when the actual Worlds is happening right now. To all readers, good luck and have fun.

    Im giving this review for the 1st chapter just because some readers dont justify the TRIAL READING. Yapping bout something they dont like every paragraph and I dont even know if they're comprehending every bit of it. Since someone reviewed biased because they dont play league. I will see if the terms and tactics will be explained so as the non players will still get it.

    I agree about the naming but maybe the author/translator is not shameless enough to put it there for the reason of being sued.
