A mysterious god-like entity has given Ed a crazy ordeal in which he must be expelled from a party of 100 heroes in 100 different worlds in order to return to his original world, but he finally achieves the condition and is able to return to his original world. However, as a final additional condition, he is given the chance to “see what happens to the worlds he has been banished from.” … This is where he learns a shocking fact.
“All right, I’ll do it! I’ll go there again and be banished for good all over again!”
Only this time he is accompanied to these 100 worlds by a former companion…

The protagonist isn't your typical overpowered isekai hero; he's actually weaker than many foes, and far from being the main antagonist. Throughout the story, he faces significant challenges and gets defeated often, even later on. His character is decent, not extraordinary, but not as one-dimensional as typical OP protagonists – a welcomed change.
While the pace might be slow for some readers, the series maintains its focus and direction, even if occasional fillers are present. The best part is that it's not a harem; there's only one female lead, which adds a fresh dynamic. The relationship between Tia and the MC is charming, though the author seems to either shy away from romance or lacks experience in that area. However, their connection does evolve.
In terms of storytelling, this series is superior to most rushed isekai titles that run out of ideas. It's an adventure with unexpected twists, engaging plot developments, and a deepening narrative as the duo explores 100 diverse worlds. Each world offers unique characteristics, making interactions with their inhabitants compelling.
Overall, the story is intriguing, and the original premise is well-executed. It's a standout among isekai web novels. The only drawbacks are the slow pace and the author's reluctance to explore romance despite its potential.
The web novel currently encompasses over 25+ arcs, spanning across roughly 10-15 distinct isekai settings. Each world follows a basic hero vs. demon king theme, but with unique twists added to the mix. Sometimes, these arcs aren't entirely new; they intertwine earlier worlds in unexpected ways due to events in subsequent ones.
An overarching plot exists, but it can be challenging to follow, possibly due to my limited Japanese comprehension. Certain aspects become clearer only as the story progresses. Given the short length of each world (around 10-15 chapters), world-building isn't the strongest aspect, but I still appreciate it. Compared to generic isekai series on the platform, this one stands out in terms of storytelling.
Additionally, it's worth noting that it doesn't feature a harem, which is a major plus for me. What captured my interest was the dynamic between the main character and the heroine/companion, Tia, particularly during the arc endings. Despite the slow pace of romance, their relationship is genuinely touching. The main character isn't portrayed as dense, just that the transitions between worlds are rapid.
In conclusion, while it may not be the pinnacle of storytelling, I genuinely enjoyed this series.
