The manager, surnamed Wang, hurried into the lounge with a big belly, following a store clerk.
Once at the door, he patted his stomach, caught his breath, and pushed the door open.
“My surname is Wang,”
Manager Wang said with a smile as he shook hands with Lang Junxian.
“May I ask your name?”
“Just Lang,”
Lang Junxian reached out and shook his hand, then pushed the box toward him.
“You’re a straightforward guy.”
Manager Wang held his belly and reached out to take the box.
Unlike the flustered clerk, Manager Wang simply glanced at the box’s contents and then closed it.
“What price are you looking for?”
Lang Junxian held up one finger.
Manager Wang laughed,
“Five million? You don’t seem like an outsider, but asking that much is quite a stretch. We can’t do business that way.”
“Not just this one,”
Lang Junxian shook his head, remaining calm throughout.
“If the price is right, we can continue to work together.”
Manager Wang’s smile froze for a second, then he confirmed,
“You have more of this quality?”
Lang Junxian nodded.
“Yes.”
