I absolutely adore this novel! It features an exorcist protagonist (MC) who encounters an excessively malevolent spirit (ML). Initially, the MC's family rescues her from a mountain, and she gains income by conducting exorcisms, such as sending evil entities to reincarnation or eliminating them. The ML is a prodigious weaponsmith, if my understanding is correct. However, due to his dark nature, he's usually isolated from others. Our MC and ML are neighbors, and they gradually become friends, supporting one another. What's remarkable is ML's kindness, gentleness, and thoughtfulness.

Here's a spoiler: ML's immense wickedness stems from his past life experiences.

What draws me to the MC is her appealing personality - she's strong, straightforward, and straightforward, yet she possesses cunning to defend herself against those with ill intentions towards her.

The novel is excellent; I highly recommend it. FL possesses a certain naivety and speaks candidly, which adds a touch of humor. Both the protagonist and ML are likable. I thoroughly enjoyed the reading experience. 4.5 out of 5 stars!

This book was an absolute delight, filled with laughter and lightheartedness. The ghost and supernatural elements were seamlessly integrated into the characters' lives, making for a captivating read. However, what truly stood out for me were the characters, particularly the male lead (ML).

Initially, I was hesitant to pick up the book due to the summary, fearing a clichéd, overbearing character. To my pleasant surprise, the ML turned out to be a true gentleman, a dreamboat, and an epitome of respect towards the female lead (FL). His chivalry and consideration were heartwarming, and it was refreshing to see the FL take charge in their pursuit, even though the ML had genuine affection for her.

The FL herself was a strong and independent character, capable of defending herself and exuding confidence in all aspects of her life. Her presence was invigorating.

The supporting characters, especially Wu Lai, were lovable and added depth to the story. His character development and humorous antics had me in stitches. The ending notes featuring him were hilarious and touching.

In conclusion, I believe there should be more male leads like this one. If you appreciate FLs who are self-sufficient, this book is a must-read. Despite the absence of confrontational scenes, the storytelling and plot progression were exceptional. Kudos to the author and translator for a fantastic work.
