Hello, my name is Salem Harpen, and I am an 18-year-old individual who holds the unfortunate distinction of being the sole survivor of my pack. The day I was born, our pack faced a devastating, secretive attack, resulting in the loss of many members. My grandmother and I managed to flee into the heart of the forest, seeking refuge. For the past eighteen years, we've lived in secrecy, as my grandmother grew older and her strength waned. Tragically, on her final breath, she entrusted me with a solemn promise: never to abandon our hidden sanctuary. However, circumstances forced me to break that vow. With no more food sources nearby, starvation loomed, compelling me to venture out to find sustenance. My first encounter with the forest's outer world was overwhelming, filled with fear. Determined to return to safety, I scoured for food, but unfortunately, I unknowingly trespassed on another pack's territory. They caught me, believing I had acted without their permission. I was taken captive and brought before their alpha, awaiting punishment. In that moment, I couldn't help but wonder if my capture marked the end of not just my own life but the legacy of my entire pack.
