Ahem.
This book is quite the catch for everyone. From the 20 chapters I read, there are 3 things that make rhis book gold.
1. MC is strong with a cheat, but doesn't
use his cheat over excessively.
2. He has a pet centipede that is more caring than a human. (I swear if you don't add this for the centipede...)
3. He isn't going to become "got catch them all" Actually has limits... and he doesn't catch them. He creates them. 10/10
When I picked this up on a whim, from the synopsis I thought this would be some game mechanic OP retardedness which would make me rage quit before I finished the first 5 chapters. I was totally wrong. First off the world building is left open ended since the MC is a student about to graduate. He doesn't have world experience to fall back on. But to the positive he realizes he doesn't and can look at situations without preconceptions? MC also does not have the stench of overwhelming cockiness which 97% of the MC's in your regular CN possess. Mysteries abound, hints and possibilities are foreshadowed in almost all the chapters. I enjoy a writer who can hint at and sketch in the scenery and characters layer by layer.
All in all, a great start at 22 chapters. I hope it continues in this vein for many more.
Sad to say that the story for this novel has devolved over time. While interesting at first, everything is given to the protagonist conviently and its incredibly boring to read the same slice of life interactions over and over again. Who gives a **** that Da Zi is hungry? That's a minor detail
I love these kinds of novels. When the MC is either a demon, monster, or a monster tamer, I tend to read and like it. Charms of Soul Pets is an example.
Because he want to reive his parents, he become a monster-tamer ...
Well, how i start with this ? Even the start of the story is absurt, illogical, childish, and boring in the same time. No need to even think about reading it and find something good. You know right for the start it wil be one of the many, many copy-past-use-plot-rope and face-slape with no-reason watsower of type of boock.
In other words, pass you way, this is not only full bags of b*lshit but also complet wast of time.
Loving the story so far. MC has a goal which is clear and reasonable to an extent. He is working for his goal and it provides a good motivation for him. I also really like that the world building is not completely set in some system. It has not been long since the change of the MC's world so new things can be expected to happen which I always like more than world's that have some set rules in stone.
Dont even read author has a brain disorder and is overly racist starts well but then spirals down as mc attitude starts changing and he becomes like those spoiled young masters making excuses for his choices. Even an arc where he cripples a british person's monster just cause she beat his Chinese countrymen saying he has to win back face for his country even though she won fair and square
