Life in La Push had always been average for sixteen-year-old Brooklyn Fisher. Her days were filled with school, extracurriculars, and her best-friend-turned-sort-of-almost-boyfriend, Seth Clearwater. Though her life was far from perfect, Brooklyn wouldn't change a thing. So, when the boys in La Push begin disappearing for weeks at a time, only to show up with the same tribal tattoo, short hair, and even shorter tempers, Brooklyn struggles to cope with the changes that arise-most notably the fact that she suddenly has a baby on the way, and a baby daddy that won't answer her calls.
