This is one of my all time favorite novels. There are many cultivation novels on webnovel and only a select few are really good. I would include this one on that list as the story is very entertaining and the MC is amusing to me. I encourage anyone on the fence to give the novel a shot. The friends that I have recommended this story to are in love with it and read it every day.

A compendium of clichés.
Just 3 chapters and it was glaringly obvious that this would just be a compendium of clichés full of copy-pasted ideas; as every single one of those 3 chapters was just the development of a cliché, with already the hints of "inspiration" taken from other novels.
With such a disastrous beginning, I don't need to read more before dropping this; recommended only to cliché-loving readers, if there are any.

I've read until the 1170's and i liked a lot the story because the powers are well made, etc althought it's annoying how the author is repeating the plot every time is like "oh no he's going to lose!!! AH?? WTF? WHY IS HE SO STRONG" and in my eyes Hong Qinxquang should've died now her presence in the novel is annoying and that's what made me stop because i can't bear how she's used by the author
