Standing on top of a mountain overlooking Star City. The city is larger than I expected. I couldn't see the end of the old looking stone houses and people all with smiles on their faces. But what grabbed my attention was the towering building in the middle of the city. It was the same as any other building in the city but it was taller than any and had purple banners with a golden rose on one large tower in the middle on a castle looking building surrounding it. This was my new school, Star Academy. The school that only accepts some of the most promising students to go there and study in a curriculum of their choosing with instructors who are the best in their respective fields.

A gate on the other side of the arena began to open. Before it was even half way open, a large man burst out and forced the gate the rest of the way up. He wore a leather mask and simple leggings. His muscles were well developed, but he still had a large stomach of fat.

During first period it felt like i couldn't concentrate it just felt like i kept going back to the memory of what my dad's boss said. And it hurt so much. But not as much as knowing that my dads been a lie this entire time. Mr. Burch looks at me and tells me to stand up to answer a question, thankfully to me, i never pay attention in math class so i am so not answering this. Mr Burch repeats the question and the whole class goes silent. I stand there for seconds. Normally i would be freaking out and thinking of an answer just to at least be able to sit back down, but this time was different. This time while the clock was ticking i wasn't thinking of an answer, it was like i didn't give a single care for anything. It felt weird but at the same time relieving..

Just wanna say any and all feedback would be appreciated and to any Vampire enthusiasts, feel free to offer any facts on the different Vampires in the book. Most of them are from real life folklore so I'd like my depictions of them to be at least somewhat accurate even if I do take some liberties
