Overall great book with some interesting ideas. Although it feels like there are a lot of loop holes, primarily with MC powers. But it's kind of unavoidable considering what type of power he has (but I still think some moments could have been written better). Also I don't like the character development of MC in 700+ chapters. Like it feels a little strange or uncanny how he interacts with his harem etc. [Spoiler for 700+ch] Maybe that's because of his Lord awakening and the fact that I'm not a fan of "other personality" tropes in books. I understand that he becomes more domineering and authoritative when he is in his "Lord" persona, but it leaks too much into his "normal" life.
Lol. I love berries. If i could find a berried room i would hope it was raspberry. Strawberries are also a good choice. No, not strawberries, elderberries. Not elderberries either, black...no blueberries. Nvm. Raspberries are still the best. Sorry for making fun of your berried room. I will give this a read here shortly.
I draw my swordbreaker, this should be easy, I've been training on Eight for a couple of days now and I think I have his patterns figured out. As soon as the bell sounds the golem rushes me with a high swing, well that's new, I barely have time to deflect the blow as another one comes barreling in. *Okay, he's got some tricks now, that's just great. Good thing I have some of my own.* I wait for my moment, waiting for it to slip up, and just like that, I have my chance. It goes for another high swing, *Good thing I saw it coming this time.* I bring my swordbreaker just above my head and catch it blade in the teeth of my own, with my off hand I reach up to my left shoulder and draw the dagger hidden under the sleeve, turn around so that my back is now facing the weapons rack and proceed to jam the tip of the dagger in ear of the golem. "You yield?" I say with some weight to my breathing, it simply nods. "Good, now go and get the greatsword!" With that command, I remove my dagger and place it back in its scabbard as the golem walk's out of the ring over to the weapon rack, grabs a greatsword and walks back into the ring.
A good take on the game genre. An interesting game novel. I like the idea, a really dope stuff but I think the work in this work should be the dialogue. Overall it's really interesting.
Well rounded fleshing out of main character. The concept is fresh and the authors unique touch to the creatures and affinities bring a fresh touch to beast taming that is quite enjoyable so far. Keep it up!
