NICE BEGINNING

The author of this novel is pretty good and his novels are known for their comedy and the intelligence of the MCS.If you haven't read any go ahead and do it! You won't regret it 😀

While this is a pretty good story and can be used to pass the time, the writer insists on throwing in rather cringey moments to try and force a laugh. On top of that, they ignore their own rules and set up the most ridiculous situations in order to push the plot forward. An enemy comes and fights against someone way stronger than him, and the enemy escapes anyway. Then they fight against someone an entire cultivation REALM ahead of them and still escape anyway. THEN they come across someone two cultivation realms ahead of them, and escape anyway. Then they come across an elder who is FIVE entire cultivation realms ahead of them, and by the grace of bad writing, escapes anyway. All of that ridiculous and impossible nonsense just to get the main character to act. And this is just one example. Half of the time the story is good, however, the other half it feels like the author is a mindless crayon eater.

story is great. the whole soul concept is great. characters feel like actual people. pacing is on the slower side, but that's what makes the world and characters feel more alive. would recommend 10/10
