The Wandering Samurai and his Beloved General (BL)

When Haruki woke up, he found himself in a damp cave, surrounded by the mangled bodies of humans and other mortal creatures. He had no memory of how he’d gotten there, where he was, or even who he was.

A katana lay beside him, and for reasons he couldn’t understand, it clung to him as if it had chosen him. With no other options, he wandered the world for years, barely learning how to wield the blade while relying on it to fend off creatures and earn a meager livelihood.

Finding answers about his identity took a backseat to more immediate concerns—like where his next meal would come from.

Haruki had all but resigned himself to a life of aimless survival when he saw him.

The General.

A man who dominated the battlefield, winning one sword fight after another. His movements were a mesmerizing blend of beauty and savagery, and they captured Haruki’s very soul.

Before his mind could process what he was doing, his body moved—reckless and unbidden.

He followed him through life and death, his eyes never straying from his back. Until the day he stood beside him as the one and only person entrusted with protecting his back, he finally voiced his wish.

“General,” Haruki called out, his voice steady and resolute. “Let’s fight. If I win, you’re mine.”
