At twenty chapters in, this story has accumulated a lot of familiar plot elements, but it fails to introduce or manage them effectively. Consequently, the tone and focus are inconsistent, and the writing lacks the quality needed to support such complexity. Instead of feeling like the issues stem from being trapped in a flawed story world (as they should), the narrative just becomes a chaotic mess. It had the potential to be enjoyable, but I have to advise against reading it.

The novel started off well, and I enjoyed it for what it was, but after chapter 26, it became extremely convoluted to the point where it barely made sense. The main character has a system, but it has only been used once so far. Keep in mind, the raw chapters of this novel only go up to around 90, and by chapter 34, she hasn't even considered using the roulette again. Even the first ability she received from it wasn't very useful until chapter 27.

Early review. Pretty fun. The female lead is intelligent and domineering. There's a surprising amount of justified head stomping. The setting is a high school, where random but enjoyable mecha battles take place. What? More details?

The main character (MC) is the eldest daughter of the highest-ranked noble family in the kingdom. However, her family is far from supportive; she has an ambivalent father and an ambitious stepmother and stepsister, making her surrounded by enemies with few resources. The only things keeping her alive are two loyal retainers and the family's need to maintain appearances. Now that the MC no longer lives in the family mansion due to starting high school, her future tragic death seems to be fast approaching. One issue with this story is that the translation is not great. Minor errors are common, and sometimes paragraphs don't make sense. Still, it’s mostly readable, and I enjoy it.

This story takes a sharp downturn after the first twenty chapters. The main character transforms into an imperialist war criminal, sponsoring civil wars and revolts as if she's the American military-industrial complex. It seems the author has a fascination with American foreign policy, but with a thin veneer of Chinese characteristics.

As a result, any meaningful character or plot development is sacrificed for narratives about the main character shipping weapons to various groups in impoverished nations, much like the head of the Wagner Group. Meanwhile, the love interest is virtually erased from the story, only appearing occasionally to act as elitist as possible.

In essence, this novel is for those who want to read about a fascist imperialist destroying the world. But actually, what is her motivation for all of this?
